How to paint a zebra in a green field during the day

Assuming you would like tips on painting a zebra in a green field during the day:

1. Decide on the composition of your painting. Will the zebra be the focus of the painting or will it be part of the background?

2. Choose your colors. For a naturalistic zebra, use a black or dark grey for the stripes and a white or light grey for the background. If you want a more whimsical painting, use brighter colors for the stripes.

3. Paint the zebra's stripes first, using a thin brush. Work from the inside of the stripes outward, using long, even strokes.

4. Once the stripes are complete, paint the zebra's body. Start with a light color and then add darker colors to create shading.

5. Paint the background last. For a green field, use a light green for the color and add darker green for shading.
